For Dachser, international logistics service provider, we are looking for an Operations Manager with strong people management skills for the Mouscron site to manage international transport.

In this position as Operations Manager International Transport, you will:

  • Hold the final responsibility for the international groupage transport and related logistics activities.
  • Develop long term transport planning for the international operations
  • Lead two teams responsible for managing & coordinating operational processes at the administrative level
  • Monitor the KPI’s of your department on a daily basis and adjust the planning to address capacity fluctuations
  • Work closely with customer service, warehouse and other operations managers both locally and internationally
  • Establish long-term agreements with subcontractors and oversee their SLA’s.
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at improving KPI’s.
  • Be a part of the local management team & Operations Benelux, reporting to the General Manager Mouscron.
  • You possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent thinking level
  • Relevant experience in groupage transport or logistics is a must
  • You have leadership experience
  • Strong people management and stakeholdership skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch at a native level, with conversational fluency in French and English
