Job Description

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company. You will ensure the efficient and effective handling of our transport services, manage the team and optimize our logistics processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and achieving our business objectives.

  • Manage and optimize operational processes to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leading a team of logistics personnel, including recruitment, training, and employee development.
  • Developing and implementing new logistics strategies and processes.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in the transportation industry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop integrated and effective business strategies.
  • Maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure high levels of service.
  • Reporting to senior management on operational results and plans.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an operational leadership role within the transport or logistics sector.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of the transport industry and relevant legislation.
  • Experience with the use of logistics software and databases.
