Packaging Engineer

Brabant Walloon – contracting

Our partner is looking for aPackaging Engineerto help his team to increase the performance and robustness of assets. This international company is well-known for its pharmaceuticals.

Your responsibilities?

Automated case packer deployment:

  • Support the deployment of 10 automated case packers across Vaccines network
  • Follow-up punch lists with local engineering teams
  • Propose and follow-up of design change and improvements to increase safety, quality and operation performance
  • Monitor implementation of design changes across machines of the network (installed and yet to be installed)
  • Update of central design documents (Safety assessment, Quality risk assessment…)
  • Monitoring of equipment performance across the network

Manual aggregation cells:

  • End to end project follow-up (from URS to end of qualification)
  • Basic Design
  • URS
  • Bidding process, offer analysis
  • Design review with supplier
  • Project follow-up with supplier
  • FAT
  • IQ-OQ

Ready to use vials:

  • Assess the technical impact on the Vaccines pack network of the introduction of a new vial format
  • Technical impact on installed packaging equipment and future packaging equipment
  • Request quotations from suppliers
  • Compare technical proposals from suppliers

Syringe orientation solution:

  • Follow-up the implementation and the performance improvement of an innovative technology to orient the flange of syringes (4 packaging sites)

Your profile?

  • You have a master degree or equivalent by experience
  • Certification in Project Management is a plus
  • You are an expert in cGMP
  • You have a good knowledge of technical expertise (utilities, equipment, etc.)
  • You are organized and able to manage your time and identify priorities
  • You have good reactivity when facing challenges such as changes in schedule or in users requirements
  • You are rigorous in following documentation
  • Good communicator in French and in English
  • Ability to be involved into multi-functional teams
  • Relationship management internal and external
  • Ability to work through internal and external networks
