What You’ll Do:

• Help build a sustainable welfare policy and a true safety culture at our Tisselt plant.
• Support the EHS Manager/Head IDPBW with the development of the welfare policy on site and the further development of the integrated care system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Help monitor the legal conformity in the field of well-being and check whether the legal requirements are correctly applied.
• Take responsibility for the organization and follow-up of the external audits.
• Work actively in our factory on welfare processes and specific actions such as training (new) employees on safety, conducting observation tours, following up and analyzing accidents and incidents, supporting production in making risk analyses, keeping machine safety up to date.
• Actively participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work.
• Be point of contact regarding safety in the company.
• Provide certain welfare reports (to the authorities, Etex management, local management, etc.) and support the organization of other safety documentation such as toolboxes, safety instruction cards, procedures, etc.
• Collaborate on risk assessments and incident investigations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial sciences or in another scientific field.
• Completed a Level 2 prevention advisor training and are willingness to advance to a level 1. (Already holding a level 1 prevention advisor diploma is a plus).
• Ideally, several years of work experience related to well-being at work in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of the various aspects of welfare legislation and familiarity with drafting procedures and welfare regulations.
• Sense of responsibility and commitment to the organization.
• Ability to plan and organize your own work. You know how to set priorities and dare to take decisions.
• Strong communication skills to be able to connect with colleagues at all levels and with external parties.
• Hands on, proactive approach to provide solutions.
