About the job
As a product marketing specialist, you are the main point of contact for all marketing activities in Belgium regarding the entire product portfolio of our client, a major player in HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) solutions. You are in charge of the development of your product assortment and all related marketing activities. You act independently and report directly to the Country Manager.

- Conduct regular market and SWOT analyses on the responsible product category, including competitor products, prices, distribution channels, and promotional activities.
- Plan and coordinate price setting activities in coordination with the Country Manager.
- Develop the business by creating the future product plan and by introducing new products to the markets. Closely work together with the key-customers, management, and the factory marketing/product planning team.
- Develop training content and materials for the assigned product range, for internal and external training implementation.
- Create and coordinate sales plan (by product category and distribution strategy), while keeping up-to-date with the market practice and trends.
- Create technical documentation, catalogues, price list, certifications & technical databases, and adapt centrally provided material to the local market.
- Support implementation all necessary marketing activities (eg. sell-out/sell-in campaigns, mass-media advertising activities, promotions, trade fairs, marketing materials, PR, mock-ups, and advertisement)
- Support the planning and organization of PR activities, local events, conferences, trips, fairs, and customer events. Where necessary in collaboration with PR agencies and external agencies.
About the ideal candidate
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing or equivalent education
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a marketing position (brand management, product management, trade marketeer, category management)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have an eye for details. Planning and organizing are natural skills.
- You are entrepreneurial, result and customer-driven, innovative and flexible. You are able to work autonomously.
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English
