Our client is a Heavy machinery manufacturer, specially for earthmoving equipment.Quality Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance tasks to ensure that heavy machinery products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze and understand engineering diagrams of hydraulic and electric systems.
  • Data Analysis: Implement and manage quality management systems, including documentation, record-keeping, and initiatives for process enhancement.
  • Problem Solving: Employ analytical and problem-solving abilities to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, collaborating with diverse teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Effectively convey quality-related information within the team, providing updates on performance, issues, and improvement efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and vendor teams to address quality concerns, foster continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of top-notch products.
  • Professional Development: Show dedication to ongoing learning and advancement within the field of quality engineering.
Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - Associate’s Degree.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment manufacturing.

Travel: Less than 10%.

Characteristics: Demonstrates creativity, problem-solving skills, flexibility, goal orientation, and commercial awareness.

Knowledge of tooling.

Fluent in English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
