For our client, active in the pharmaceutical sector, we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager in CAR-T to strengthen the team.Does this seem like something for you?

First things first: What can you expect within your duties? You will develop and execute project plans , which will include defining scope, timelines and required resources. You will be responsible for managing project budgets and will ensure projects are completed within budget constraints. You will develop and implement quality assurance strategies , which includes risk assessment and root cause analysis. Thus, you will ensure that CAR-T cell therapies meet quality standards. Lead the QA team: mentoring, performance management and coaching the team. You will take care of monitoring and reporting project progress : in this you will identify and address issues and risks as they arise. You will ensure that CAR-T cell therapies are developed and manufactured in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your duties will also include continuous improvement of the QA process, where you will identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement. You will also manage relationships with external suppliers as well as contractors as needed.

What do we expect from you?

  • You hold a master degree within engineering, sciences or pharmaceutical sciences.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience within quality in the biopharmaceutical industry, combined with at least 3 years of experience in managing QA teams.
  • Your leadership skills are strong: you have the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Communication has no secrets for you, you can communicate perfectly with other departments, other executives and external partners.
  • It is a plus if you have experience in the development and production of CAR-T cell therapies.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have experience with quality assurance tools, techniques and methods.
  • Prioritizing is no trouble for you.
  • You are willing to work in Ghent and occasionally travel to Beerse when needed.
