We are looking for a Regional Operational Excellence Lead - Intercontinentalwho is collaborative, adaptable and operational to join our I2I Regional Hub Department, based in our UCB campus located in Brussels, Belgium
About The Role
You will serve as a key business partner for the Intercontinental I2I Patient Impact organization and the local Patient Impact Teams. Your primary focus will be on optimizing systems and processes and reinforcing sales force effectiveness to enable data-driven, strategic decision-making across the region.
You will act as a catalyst for change and innovation, collaborating with a wide variety of management stakeholders to drive operational improvements and successful sales force engagement.
Who You’ll Work With
Reporting directly to the Head of Insight to Impact (I2I) Regional Hub, you will serve as a key business partner for the Intercontinental I2I Patient Impact organization and the local Patient Impact Teams within a cross-functional environment that spans Commercial, Medical, and Market Access functions.
In addition, you will engage closely with OE leads in key markets such as China, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, ensuring alignment and the consistent application of best practices across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of our company’s strategic objectives and translate these into actionable plans for CLRM and Sales operations across the Intercontinental region.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous refinement of an operational excellence roadmap that drives performance improvements.
- Build robust networks with a broad range of regional and local stakeholders—including regional Patient Impact teams, Insight to Impact teams across CRM, Analytics, Sales Operations, and Data & Reporting, as well as OE country leads—to ensure alignment and timely project execution.
- Translate local Patient Impact Team strategies into clear, actionable objectives that enhance system adoption and process efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by managing process improvements, monitoring competitive trends, and generating insights that support data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance Sales Force Effectiveness through best practices in targeting, segmentation, resource allocation, and tactical & operational engagement planning to drive optimal customer interactions.
- Work across functions to implement business process improvements, serve as the key partner for Commercial, Medical, and Market Access teams, and represent the organization in cross-regional projects and industry events.

- Bachelor’s Degree or above
- Proven experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Working knowledge of CRM-like systems, with hands-on experience in setting up and utilizing analytical/reporting platforms.
- Proven expertise in Sales Force Effectiveness.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills, planning, time management, and monitoring, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in complex, cross-functional environments.
