Your Challenge

In a team of researchers, you will explore new clinical applications in X-ray imaging. Your task is to thoroughly understand the clinical and workflow challenges of our customers, and propose state-of-the-art algorithms in various domains related to medical imaging and 3D reconstruction to solve them. You take full ownership of the design, implementation and verification of these algorithms, and share and communicate your ideas and implementations within the broader R&D team and the rest of the organization. You will play a crucial role in bringing challenging and innovating projects in medical imaging to our customers throughout the world.

Job Description

  • Take full ownership of image processing algorithms for medical imaging in X-ray and tomosynthesis: concept & design, prototyping, developing robust production quality algorithms, support
  • Be the key contact in R&D and towards the broader organization for your solutions
  • Follow up state of the art research, collaborate with academic partners
  • Participate in key customer workshops to gather initial feedback
  • Proactively look for new clinical applications in X-ray

Requested Profile And Skills

  • Academic background in image processing: Master, PhD or equivalent by experience
  • Experience in 3D reconstruction is an asset
  • Affinity with medical imaging is an asset
  • Team player, good communication skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Experience in programming is an asset: Python, CUDA, Java, C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch
