In order to ensure further business growth and continuity in Belgium, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager Contractors & Distribution - Belgium.

Job description

Together with the Country Manager you will have an end-to-end responsibility for the commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the group business objectives, whilst taking into account local market specifications and needs.

  • You will translate the overall strategy into a tangible action plan, ensuring clear goals and KPI’s are in place, aiming for a strong performance management culture.
  • You will ensure a high standard of sales excellence by improving sales operations and processes within the entire commercial organization.
  • You will build, strengthen and empower the commercial department.
  • You cultivate relationships with key customers, driving business expansion and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • You assure an excellent market and competitor analysis and will keep abreast on market trends and developments.
  • You will work together extensively with different teams and department across the organisation, ensuring a high service level and customer satisfaction.
  • You will be responsible for leading the commercial department consisting out of Internal and External Sales, in total +/- 18 fte’s.
  • You report directly to the Country Manager Belgium.

Profile

  • You obtained a Bachelor or Master degree in Commercial Sciences, Marketing, Commercial Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a B2B environment.
  • You have a technical affinity and can quickly understand all technical aspects of the business.
  • Demonstrated success of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies that achieve sales and revenue targets, maximize profitability, and drive growth.
  • Solid proven track record within performance- & change management.
  • Outstanding leadership, people management and communication skillset with the ability to motivate and further develop teams.
  • Your commercial attitude and excellent interpersonal skills help you in developing long term partnerships.
  • Strong internal- and external stakeholder management capabilities.
  • You are flexible towards travel in Belgium.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required, combined with a good level of French.
