A company active in the Banking sector is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in finance and in accounting, you will play a key role within the company.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior Accountant will include:

  • Preparation of external reports to NBB and tax authorities
  • Preparing the corporate tax calculations, accruals and VAT returns (quarterly returns and yearly pro-rata)
  • Daily accounting monitoring
  • Coordinating with the external auditors
  • Approving FMS
  • Fixed assets management

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Financial Management
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bank
  • You are fluent in English and in French or Dutch
  • Knowledge of Chinese is a plus
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the Belgian banking accounting principles and banking regulatory reporting requirements
