Our client is a well established and high growth Semiconductor manufacturer who are looking to grow their operations in Leuven. As a result they are looking for an experienced AMS Verification Engineer to join their team.
Modern analog building blocks in advanced CMOS technologies need digital to improve their performance. As Senior AMS Verification engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the top-level verification in an analog-digital design world.
The digitally driven self-calibrations that you will develop, and implement are a key factor to reach the target performance in today’s 5G infrastructure design.
Responsibilities
- Set up the tool flow for top-level verification in analog-on-top, mixed-signal or digital-on-top environments
- Support production level testing and verification for preproduction, qualification, and production
- As a senior design engineer, you will mentor team members in design concepts and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD or master’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of RF/analog and mixed-signal design experience, with 3+ years in RF CMOS design
- Experience in modelling analog building blocks in different languages (verilogA, system-verilog…) for top-level verification
- Experience with analog-on-top and digital-on-top verification setups
- Experience with EDA tools such as digital simulation, synthesis, place and route
- System Verilog verification with UVM, including constrained random verification, functional coverage and assertions
- Experience in developing hardware extraction layers for complex systems
- Understanding of digital signal processing algorithms or other mathematical algorithms
- Expert in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages
- Numeric programming and scripting with Python NumPy or Matlab
