For one of our client, HAYS is looking for a Senior Finance & Business Controller to help them with managing their finance department and analyzing business performance.


About the role

As a Senior Finance & Business Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing gains, losses, and the balance sheet for various entities. You will provide objective comments on day-to-day business matters and offer guidance to management and operations. Your role will also involve monitoring risks and ensuring departmental structure compliance.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing SAP BP and providing detailed commentary on key events
  • Analyzing company results and discussing them with regional management
  • Reviewing and improving processes related to work in progress and gross profit estimation
  • Being the single point of contact for relevant entities
  • Analyzing establishment results and proposing initiatives for improvement
  • Ensuring up-to-date departmental structure in SAP
  • Monitoring gross profit evolution and forecasting
  • Drafting the P&L budget based on SAP BPC tools
  • Proactively monitoring the balance sheet to mitigate risks
  • Participating in local management meetings as a representative of the RSSC


What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified controller with at least 5 years of controlling experience
  • 2 years of audit experience
  • Good knowledge of Excel, SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving approach
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt to change
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
