Job description

Pauwels Consulting is searching for a Senior Functional Analyst to join it’s growing analysts team for our client based in Brussels.

You must link the customer’s requests for IT applications and the technical colleagues in charge of the concrete development or adaptation of the application in order to propose a solution that meets the customer’s needs and at the same time takes into account the technical requirements.

Responsibilities of the Senior Functional Analyst:

  • Participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Manage the prioritized product backlog, in consultation with the product owner
  • Preparing and writing user stories with the necessary acceptance criteria
  • First contact for functional questions from the development team
  • Validation of implemented user stories
  • Preparing and presenting sprint demos
  • Keeping the functional documentation up-to-date

    Have you got what it takes?


    Profile of the Senior Functional analyst:

    • You have +- 7 years’ experience in Functional Analysis
    • You have experience with UML/ERD
    • You have experience with ITIL
    • You have experience with functional analyses in Agile/SCRUM methodology
    • You have experience with technical design and IT architecture concepts
    • Knowledge of JAVA, ORACLE and SQL is a plus
    • You speak French or Dutch and English
