Senior PDRA Middle Office Analyst

A company active in the asset management sector is currently looking to hire a Senior PDRA Middle Office Analyst (Private Debt and Real Assets) to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in asset management and in finance, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Senior PDRA Middle Office Analyst will include:

FRONT OFFICE SUPPORT:

• Provide specialist support to portfolio managers of Private Debt and Real Estate Investment team, Perform portfolio lifecycle maintenance with regard to portfolio related cash flows (coupons and paydowns).
• Transaction Management:

• Ensure proper trade entry into the front office systems
• Reconciliation of economics and legal documentation
• Ensure timely settlement of transactions
• Supervision of outsourced Trade Support activities

• Position Keeping: Provide correct and valued positions and cash to Front-Office
• Accounting: Provide oversight of service quality and accuracy of records of the (third party) fund accountants and trustee

• Ensure timely and proper booking of transactions in back-office systems
• Ensure NAV calculated by external provider is correct

• Events Management on Vehicles: Coordinate and Control

• Coupon’s payments: Calculation and control of the quarterly waterfalls payments
• Funds distribution level
• Capital calls
• Amortizations

• Client Reporting: provide accurate reporting to clients
• Day-to-day support to Front Office

ESCALATION:

• Timely escalation of trade discrepancies to the counterparty, front office and/or legal, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ad hoc Private / Global Credit / CDO / FCPE fund related tasks.
• Data maintenance relating to syndicated and private loans instruments

Your profile:

• You have a university Degree in finance or economics or equivalent by experience
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in an operational role Real Assets / Private Debt, which includes corporate loans from large cap to SME loans, structured finance, infrastructure debt and real estate debt
• You have a good knowledge of financial products and financial products transaction processing workflows
• You have an excellent level in English, and good knowledge in another European language (Dutch and/or French) is considered as a plus

Your strengths:

• You have a good knowledge of basic IT tools (MS Office XL, MS Outlook, …) and a knowledge of VBA is a plus.
• You can work in a team, have good communication skills and you are results-driven and proactive
• You are stress resistant and multi-tasks
• Through your previous experience you have developed good organisational and analytical skills
