Job Description

The Product Owner (PO) is a servant leader who sets clear objectives for the squad (defining WHAT they need to deliver) and helps the squad achieve these objectives. This includes creating focus through prioritization and flow through the removal of impediments. The PO aligns with the relevant stakeholders across the organization, continuously and in preparation of ceremonies such as the Quarterly Business Review.

The squad is focused on the delivery of an advanced personalization platform using Pega’s Customer Decisioning Hub (CDH). In that context, a business-friendly, malleable solution needs to be built to enable business users to quickly roll out new personalized recommendations. The squad fully owns the CDH platform and builds out its capabilities, owning the technical roadmap for this platform (e.g. cloud strategy, platform upgrades, etc.).

The squad actively supports the So1 use case squad, which will deliver always-on personalization use cases for various business stakeholders. Close alignment is needed to ensure that the capability roadmap is suited to best support upcoming use cases. This needs to be backed by clear accountability: being transparent on progress made and make clear commitments towards the use case squad and other stakeholders in the business.

Activities / Responsibilities of the Team

The mission of the CDH team is to delivery a configurable software platform that allows the realization of personalization use cases, supporting Telenet’s customer intimacy ambitions.
  • Delivering integrations with communication channels (e.g. outbound mail & web/app front-ends) to ensure that personalized content can be efficiently created, managed and exposed to customers.
  • Building data integrations to leverage a real-time customer profile to make personalized decisions at the right time instead of defining target audiences ahead of time.
  • Leveraging and extending platform capabilities to support e.g. adaptive modeling, stock awareness
Expertise & Skills
  • Expertise in (agile) software delivery, from requirements/user stories to delivered code & customer value/
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills towards multiple disciplines in the organization
  • Management skills, experience in managing processes, projects and employees
  • Develop a strategic (product) vision and translate its concepts into structured priorities towards execution
  • Able to navigate an environment with high complexity and pressure
  • Agile mindset, fostering an inspect and adapt approach where regular (sprint) reviews are crucial
  • Making decisions in a complex agile environment, e.g. on Product Backlog and prioritization
  • Expertise with the Pega Customer Decisioning Hub and Adobe Marketing Cloud is highly relevant and will need to be built up in the first few months if necessary.
