Job Title: Coordinator for High-Tech Device Installations in FAB and LAB Environments

Location: Leuven, Belgium

About the Role:

Are you ready to manage complex projects and coordinate high-tech device installations in cleanroom and laboratory environments? Our client, a top research center in nanotechnology, is seeking a skilled and proactive Coordinator to lead and manage their project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee the operational management of projects, including planning, daily follow-up, and internal and external reporting. Chair or delegate in umbrella meetings.
• Resource Planning: Manage the project portfolio, ensuring effective gatekeeping and resource allocation for installation projects.
• Complex Installations: Coordinate high-tech device installations from concept to delivery within scope, term, and budget.
• Contractor Management: Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to Hookup installation guidelines on-site.
• Continuous Improvement: Take on overarching responsibilities, such as optimization and change projects, and contractor management initiatives.

• High level Responsibility:You will manage Cleanroom Engineers (50) and have an overview on 150 projects. This is a high level PM role. You will be gatekeeper for which projects come in from clients and be present in senior management meetings to discuss decisions

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Degree in industrial sciences or engineering.
• Experience: Extensive experience in project and portfolio management, as well as task-oriented management.
• Safety Knowledge: Proficient in safety methodologies (RA, LMRA, permits) and contractor management.
• Several years experience in cleanroom or lab / R&D environment, with experience in project management / coordinator role.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, encourage, and support project team members to achieve objectives.
• Communication Skills: Clear and correct reporting with the ability to distinguish main issues from side issues.
• Diplomatic and Assertive: Combine diplomacy with assertiveness to make a significant impact in cross-team meetings.
• Proactive Approach: Take initiative and action as needed, working independently to plan and organize your own work.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English. Additional Dutch is highly preferred.
