The Service Engineer actively supports engineering activities by ensuring the commissioning of the products and by troubleshooting when issues occur. They also share knowledge and expertise on the use of our technologies whenever and wherever specialist technical support is needed.

Note: This position requires frequent travel for work. Please make sure you are okay with that before moving on to an application.

Responsibilities
  • You are tasked with the correct initial testing, service, preventive maintenance support, repair and modification of ADB Safegate-supplied customer equipment and systems.
  • You perform troubleshooting, in depth, for any issues or incidents which are affecting the product performance. Through proactive communication with the customers, you inform them on the status and any results of issues encountered.
  • You work closely together with the internal departments of ADB Safegate to make sure that client satisfaction stays guaranteed.
  • You provide specialist technical support internally to incident management, regional sales desks or when required within a project management environment.
  • You also give regular product training both internally and to our customers on the ADB Safegate equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Master degree in Industrial Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), equivalent degree, or equivalent experience;
  • Min. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, or a young potential with proven skill;
  • Good knowledge of English is a must; added languages are a plus, specifically Dutch, French, German,
  • You are open to travel quite extensively for work if needed;
  • Knowledge of International safety rules and regulations;
  • Working knowledge of MS office tools (MS Project, MS office, ... ) ;
  • Programming knowledge ( Win CC or similar, VBA, C++, ) is nice to have;
  • Basic networking skills are an asset;
  • Knowledge of Aviation Rules and regulations: ICAO, FAA and STANAG is an extra advantage.
