The Senior Packaging Engineer will be responsible for the engineeringof new packaging or changes to the current packaging of our drug products. Also the realization of the validationof our new and legacy packaging systems falls under your responsibilities. You will also be busy with the realization of process technology transfer projects related to the packaging of new products.

To summarize, you will act as an expertin your domain of expertise, namely packaging.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Development, improvement, and implementation of new and existing packaging materials
  • Maintenance of the GMP-critical packaging specifications documentation
  • Validation of the legacy packaging systems
  • Act as a team member in improvement projects around primary and secondary packaging materials for our products
  • Primary contact person concerning packaging materials for the Production, Engineering, Artwork Development, Quality, and the Purchasing department
  • Maintain contacts with the different packaging materials suppliers to follow-up the technical evolution in this area
  • Validation activities around primary and secondary packaging: creation of all validation tests , creation of a summary report, ...

We are looking for an expert in packaging. Pharma experience is definitely a plus, but no must. You can also built up your experience in food or other packaging sectors. However, you are open to work in a highly regulated GMPpharmaceutical environment.

You are fluent in English, Dutch is a strong plus. On top of this, you have strong communication skills which you need to talk to suppliers, internal and external departments. You can work in a structured and organised way.

The position is in day shift and requires someone who can work full time. Occasionally, when a project is tested for example early shift is possible.
