WHO YOU ARE
As a person you are passionate about people and their well-being. You understand an impact of optimizing people processes for co-workers, customers and business.
-You are currently a full-time student in Human Resources or a related field
-You have a strong Interest in HR
-Previous HR related experience is a plus
-Fluent written and spoken Dutch is required and a good level of English is also a plus
-You are curious, organized, proactive and always willing to learn
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
-Strong research and relationship building skills

We are looking for students that require an internship of at least 3 months or more.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general HR administrative support to IKEA Gent
- Support student recruitment and external employer branding activities (e.g jobfairs)
- Work together with the people planners by adding and updating hired students in our HR systems
- Support in the on-boarding process; Welcoming students, giving mandatory trainings and information and providing them with the needed equipment
- Assist with internal HR communication

In this role you will report to the People & Culture (HR) Unit Manager.
