You are responsible for :

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Strategic Planning ensures a proper transition between strategy and execution while bringing transparency and alignment for all stakeholders involved in the process.

This position creates a structured view on the operationalization of strategy on a 5Y time frame and watches out that the Customer is at the center of everything we do.

Market & competition watch
  • Track and share market trends, market shares, switch rates etc
  • Follow-up on regulatory measures and estimates the impact on our market potential
Long Term Action Plan (5 years)
  • Together with the Controlling Manager, coordinate the process around the definition of the LT Vision & Mission and its translation into a 5-year strategic roadmap and investment plan;
  • Ensure that all counterparts (both business & support services) take part into the overall process and that the validated output will be an actionable roadmap for every stakeholder;
Mid Term Action Plan (+ 18 months)
  • Coordinate the process around the translation of the objectives & strategy of the year N+1 into a MT (18 months) action plan, highlighting a concrete project roadmap and key performance indicators
  • Ensure with PMO and Controlling that project portfolio is (i) prioritized and operationalizable (ii) well sized in budget and aligned with skills & resource plan, (iii) balanced in order to allow every stakeholder to reach his/her future objectives
  • Together with PMO, update CODIR & other stakeholders on the progress of the delivery of the project roadmap and make arbitrage calls when needed;
Strategy Execution
  • Support the steering of the strategic programs within the company:
    • Ensure that the strategic objectives of the company are declined in the strategic programs and that action plans are in place in order to realize MKT ambition and achieve MT and LT objectives;
    • Link key performance indicators with strategic priorities and determine progress towards goals;
    • Consolidate bi-monthly reporting and highlight key achievements and attention points;
    • Formulate recommendations and countermeasures when needed;
  • Coordinate the preparations and facilitate the Monthly Investment Committee
  • Lead specific projects or task forces in relation with Strategy and Strategy Execution at the request of the business;
Alignment
  • Coordinate and build materials for (quarterly) Business reviews, Manager sessions and Townhall meetings;
  • Support “POP” process (Performance Objectives Plan) by cascading company objectives per department and per team
PURCHASING

Purchasing Department defines the rules of behavior for employees involved in a purchase and help them to increase the economic impact of their purchasing initiatives and thereby contribute to the creation of value, its partners and its customers. This position ensures Purchasing practices are consistent with the Group Directive and rules related to the Procurement of Goods & Services and the practices applied.

Purchasing strategy & governance
  • Develop the purchasing strategy, ensure that the Purchasing principles are in accordance with TOTAL Group’s purchasing policies, the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, assess, manage and mitigate risks related to procurement strategy
  • Elaborate the annual Procurement Plan;
  • Liaise with Total Global Procurement to:
    • Verify the existence and promote the use of TOTAL Group Frame Contracts;
    • Check the Governance mode of the purchasing categories ;
    • Exchange on and benefit from best practices and standard documents;

Candidate profile
  • Master degree in Economics, Business or Civil Engineering
  • 5 working experience years in a Financial, Purchasing, Strategy Execution position
  • Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills, ability to work in a cross-functional team and
build bridges with internal customers
  • Able and willing to act as a real coach for your team
  • Ability to drive/take initiative
  • Results oriented
  • Strategic thinking/ helicopter view and ability to translate data and information into actionable
insights
  • Strong time management and organization skills, used to work under constraints
  • Negotiation skills, conflict management and resolution skills
  • Sense of confidentiality, ethics and integrity
  • Internal and external customer at his/her heart
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (FR and EN, NL is a plus)
