Job Description

Your challenge
  • Manage multiple strategic projects of medium-to-large size simultaneously, and their respective project teams of varying sizes. Typically, those projects could be:
    • Lead M&A initiatives and projects
    • Lead strategic growth projects (from elaborating the business case together with business owners up to implementing it into the operations)
    • Update existing Strategy plans into strategic roadmaps for key market segments, translate them into actionable go-to-market plans, validate them within the organization (Commercial, Operations, etc …) and ensure their implementation
  • Establish and maintain project plans and project budgets, report progress as required, generate risk assessments, escalate issues, and facilitate project review presentations
  • Develop presentation deliverables related to projects
  • Work with a cross-functional team on assigning tasks and establishing project deliverables
  • Contribute to thoughtful and creative discussions with project sponsor(s), stakeholders, department and division management on strategic goals, plans and challenges
  • Collect and consolidate management data/reports in order to track performance against goals and corporate strategy
  • Exercise independent discretion and judgment to solve complex problems regarding project, department or division-related work
The ideal candidate profile to take on this challenge

Education

University degree, ideally in Economics, Engineering or Business Management; MBA a strong plus .

Experience
  • 7 to 10 years of experience gained in an industrial environment or in a consultancy firm, dealing with industrial customers
  • Proven experience in leading projects in areas of strategy, business development, corporate finance and/or corporate development (M&A)
  • Multinational exposure
