SUPPLY CHAIN (TEMP)

Primary Function

  To oversee and manage the day to day transportation deliveries on Time for the French Market , with Focus on penalties

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• 
  Responsible for planning and execution functions
• Responsible for managing communication within the Suppliers and Customers.
• Partner effectively with external customers and internal transportation retained organization, customer service representatives, supply planning organization, distribution organization with a focus on increased value and benefit realization
• Liaises with continuous improvement team to support implementation of operational and system improvements
• Continuously seeks out opportunities to improve current processes
• Provides ongoing visibility into transportation movements and performance
• Reviews and ensures all shipments have been successfully planned and executed, taken appropriate corrective actions as required
• Evaluates operational performance
• Analyzes and optimizes transportation & execution activities
• Responsible to identify network opportunities and drive changes

Occupational safety and health

• Becomes acquainted with and applies correctly the legislation, the general and specific norms in the field of occupational safety and health and the different procedures in accordance with the specific nature of the workplace;
• Carries out his/her activity at the workplace in compliance with the occupational safety and health norms, the fire prevention and extinction norms, the norms of health and individual hygiene at the workplace;;
• Notifies to the management of the company and/or the hierarchical superior the accidents suffered by his/her own person;

Preferred Education & Experience

Required Education and Experience

• University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
• Language skills- English (Required); Second Language (Preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of a Transport Management System
• Understanding of transportation rules and regulations; standard processes and business policies
• Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
• Ability to develop and manage client and carrier relationships
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• skills to effectively communicate to all levels demonstrating expertise, professionalism and confidence
• Experience in a shared service, process driven or service center environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Office
• High level of knowledge of Transporeon and Sixfold Systems

Preferred Criteria

• 
  Master’s Level University Degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
• Training and certification on Six Sigma or LEAN, or similar quality management experience
• Experience of working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
• FMCG industry work experience
