Your role

  • As a system engineer you will be responsible for the development and support of the current citrix environment within the company.
  • You will help to ensure that the team can deliver value to our customers in a high performing way.
  • Your technical experience in Windows operating systems and Citrix Virtualization is an important asset.
  • All this with a view to timely and quality deliveries and as operational support for other colleagues in the team.
  • You are not only responsible for the construction of new solutions but also for the daily management once they are in production. Stability, performance and security of the solution are crucial parameters, in which the needs of our customers are central.
  • You help solve performance problems and can make proposals to automate processes.
  • It is equally important that you can work in a team where feedback and new ideas can be freely shared so that the team and yourself can continue to grow within the agile structure

Your profile

What we expect from you:
  • You are able to independently design and implement new services within a Citrix environment.
  • You have strong problem solving skills in a Citrix environment.
  • You take ownership of the stability, performance, quality and security of the new and different services our internal customers already use.
  • You show an agile mindset in your collaboration and commitment to facilitating continuous improvement.
As an experienced Senior System Engineer/IT Specialist you possess the following skills:
  • You have broad technical experience in Windows Server operating systems.
  • You have a strong expertise in Citrix environments such as Citrix APPS, Citrix Virtual Desktops and Citrix Gateway (Netscaler ADC). You can provide a number of experiences as reference.
  • You are a certified Citrix administrator in the latest products.
  • You are able to transfer your knowledge of the products to your colleagues.
  • Cooperation in an international environment is a plus.
  • You have Insides in the citrix community
  • You have at least 10 years of experience with citrix in different environments.
