We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to steer a team of approximately 20 technical staff towards achieving operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the daily operations with precision, ensuring all activities align with our standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and motivate a team of technical professionals, fostering an environment of growth, efficiency, and high performance.
  • Ensure the precise planning and execution of work schedules to meet organizational objectives.
  • Guarantee the adherence to quality standards in machine construction, facilitating regular follow-ups and adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team leaders to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Oversee the use of Protime for time tracking, and manage the processing of leave requests to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct coaching sessions to support the professional development of team members.
  • Manage inventory efficiently, ensuring resources are optimally utilized and wastage is minimized.
  • Undertake the responsibility of decommissioning machinery in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the operational manager and executive team, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in daily production meetings and board meetings, contributing valuable input towards strategic decisions.
  • Embrace process improvements, demonstrating an openness to innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a strong foundation in electromechanics, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a knack for managing and inspiring teams to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills, paired with an assertive nature, enabling clear and effective interactions across all levels of the organization.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Resilient under pressure.
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and have a basic understanding of SolidWorks.
  • Perfect command of Dutch and English
