Function

In the role of Team Lead Finance AR you are responsible for the organization and supervision of a team of 10 Accountants Accounts Receivable.

You help guide and shape the wider EMEA accounting & finance processes for all countries belonging to the region on the basis of a global governance principle.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Guiding, supporting and following up the internal employees during the execution of their assignments;
  • Performing complex accounting activities and assisting the management and HQ in order to be able to guarantee a correct accounting;
  • Acting as a first point of contact financial matters related to your field;
  • Taking on the day-to-day organization of the team members and building the most effective and efficient team setup;
  • Coaching and developing the employees and elaborating and following up their training trajectory, holding performance interviews,..
  • Actively performing and establishing continuous improvement processes, best practice sharing and lessons learned analysis.
Profile
  • Bachelor degree ( Accountancy & Tax System, Applied Economics, Accounting, Finance,..) or equivalent by experience;
  • +7 years of experience within a relevant field;
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch, good knowledge of French;
  • Natural leadership skills combined with a motivational mindset;
  • Structured and analytical approach with high logical reasoning capabilities;
