Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials NV is wereldwijd fabrikant en verdeler van halffabrikaten (platen, staven en buizen) en eindproducten uit technische kunststoffen, gaande van polyamide en polyester tot hoogwaardige polyimide. Onze producten worden hoofdzakelijk ingezet voor industriële toepassingen.

In onze afdeling Creative Moulding Solutions worden spuitgietproducten ontworpen, geproduceerd en geassembleerd voor volgende industrieën: automotive, electriciteit-electronica, medische industrie en diverse mechanische toepassingen.


Teamleader purchasing

Will you be joining Mitsubishi Chemical Advances Materials as our newest team member? Yes, you MCAM! The position as a teamleader purchasing concerns a full-time and permanent contract in a daily regime.
Your tasks

Our purchasing department procures in a cost effective way and with ultimate satisfaction of the user. To support them, we are looking for a teamleader purchasing for the indirect spending’s.


You’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • You take the lead for the indirect spending categories assigned to you. You determine the European purchasing strategy based on input from the European purchasing team and drive policies/guidelines for these categories. You also guide and support the purchasers.
  • You follow up the purchase process of plant related goods and services up to and including the actual purchase, according to group policies and guidelines. You negotiate, process and monitor the contracts and discuss potential quality issues.
  • You lead a team of 3 buyers.
  • You contribute to process improvement projects in production and take the lead in projects related to the improvement of purchasing processes.
  • You contribute to savings initiatives with regard to purchases.

Your strengths

  • You have a master’s degree of science (ex. commercial/industrial engineering, …) with minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in purchasing.
  • You have minimum 5 years’ experience in an international environment.
  • You have a good understanding of the technical aspects (mechanical, electrical, …) within a production environment.
  • You have excellent negotiation skills, also in English.
  • You are a strategic thinker and a good communicator.
  • You are a problem solver and a decision maker.
  • You are a flexible multitasker and stress resistant.
  • You are an empathic leader and coach to the team.
  • You are analytical.
  • You have experience with ERP packages.
  • You speak Dutch fluently.
