Tasks and Qualifications:Overview:An AGV Test Engineer is responsible for testing automated guided vehicles. This person works in a team to finalize and test different AGV vehicles which are built in or own production department. These customizable vehicles are checked in accordance with test procedures and ultimately finished. The complete test procedures / vehicle tracking is done in close cooperation with the responsible team leader.Responsibilities:
  • Powering up vehicles and debugging
  • Testing vehicles in a simulation of the customer’s system
  • Assisting Engineering with test track set up
  • Ensuring that the end product meets the standards of the company
  • Working on multiple projects to support AGV ship dates
  • Willingness to inform Engineering of all issues and force issue resolution
  • Setting the system components, or/and does the adjustment of vehicles
  • Following the test procedures as stated, set up new procedures when needed
  • Finishing the safety tests
  • Making the final reporting
  • Are responsible for supervision when you do FAT
  • Guide the commissioning at the customer
Qualifications:
  • You are fascinated by the world of automation
  • You enjoy working in a team
  • You have good analyzing capability / mechanical aptitude / think in solutions
  • You have good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of electronics / read wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • You are fluent in Dutch, knowledge of English / French is a plus
  • You are willing to go abroad like traveling (short assignments)
