We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer, looking forward to be part of an ambitious entrepreneurial journey aiming at disrupting the European insurance market. Someone with a “can do mentality”, passionate about technology, technically & digitally knowledgeable and that is looking to have fun.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing product requirements and specifications
  • Building an adequate test plan based on risk assessment and time constraints
  • Creating and executing automated tests via third party tools or via internal test tools
  • Reviewing & reporting product defects, product usability, automated test results and quality risks in a clear structured way
  • Assuring the follow up of the product defects workflow and verifying the product defect solutions
  • Planning, tracking and reporting daily work and assigned tasks to your direct team manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent in experience
  • A minimum of 3 years in quality assurance or application testing
  • Technical skills: database, scripting using Javascript or any other programming languages such as Node.js, Javascript, Java, C#, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software testing and automation tools (Postman scripting, Cypress)
  • ISTQB and/or Agile/Scrum certification is an asset
  • Team player but also autonomous
  • Flexible, able to quickly adapt to changes in a start-up environment
  • Result-oriented, can-do "NINJA" mentality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
