You will assume the responsibility of testing within service delivery, of one of our major projects in order to ensure a coherent, stable, performing and (cost) efficient IT landscape that meets the needs of the customer in accordance with the enterprise architecture.
Duties:
- In cooperation with our external partner you will set up the testing strategy and take care of the internal reporting.
- You are responsible for setting up and supervising the User Acceptance Tests
- You keep your knowledge up to date in order to submit targeted improvement proposals and validate the partner’s proposals so that our quality continues to evolve.
- You are cost-sensitive and always watch over the cost price of your proposals.
- You validate the deliverables of our partner through spot checks.
- You evaluate the standards and procedures of our partner and help set them up for UAT testing.
- Lead and manage a team of testers, assigning tasks, providing guidance and promoting a collaborative and high performance work environment. Ideally just to work with teams located offshore.
- Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, development teams and other stakeholders to understand program requirements and translate them into test plans and strategies.
Requirements
- You have mastered relevant knowledge and understanding, preferably through education at the undergraduate level (in Computer Science)
- Demonstrated experience as a test manager in managing large-scale testing for complex programs or projects.
- You possess an ISEB/ISTQB certification.
- You can convince people and devise and evaluate different solutions.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, processes and methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- You communicate fluently and in a structured manner and have strong adaptability. You have experience reporting on project quality.
- You have experience with Test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- You are eager to learn and regularly take initiative for self-development.
- You have a strong analytical and problem solving nature and are able to follow up on multiple projects simultaneously. You have an eye for detail.
- You have a good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- You can prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Especially in the area of test automation, we foresee still a large growth potential. Ideally, you can help us with this. General competencies:
