To support our technical department, we are hiring a Technical Leader

You will report to the TS – Equipment & Infrastructure Manager

The Role

• Manage maintenance/repair activities linked to the entire Catalent facility ; such as HVAC, utilities, power supply, …
• Ensure follow-up of routine activities linked to the correct working of the entire facility
• Lead and organize facility shutdown periods with the support of the different stakeholders (Production, QA, QC, Supply Chain and sub-contractors)
• Ensure follow-up of troubleshooting operations for the entire facility
• Be a Subject Matter expert in the industrial maintenance field
• Ensure correct monitoring of entire facility
• Lead and manage Preventive Maintenance plans
• Actively participate to problem solving and solutions proposal, with appropriate GMP documentation
• Be a back-up for the day-to-day activities performed in the Technical Service department.
• Ensure a techno-vigilance into his field of competencies
• Cover technical questions related to HVAC, utilities, power supply, chillers, liquid nitrogen supply, GTC, and any facility items.
• Be the interface between the TS department and all other Catalent departments and customer for technical aspects related to the facility management
• You will have to warn the TS Manager in case of issue
• Maintain an open and effective communication with all departments, with particular attention during facility shutdown periods
• Take part to audits when necessary
• Manage the action log related to troubleshooting/repair actions he is leading and respects the timelines
• Organize and manage regular meetings to ensure the follow-up of all tasks linked to his activities
• Ensure follow ups and respect of KPIs and take appropriate actions when needed
• Lead facility shutdown periods (including maintenance and requalification’s activities), in accordance with initial agreed planning’s
• Draft/review documents related to own activities (protocols, reports, procedures, forms, instructions, …) and review documentation (protocols or reports) filled in by other
• Ensure cGMP implementation through MTC’s quality system and feeds continuous quality improvement
• Implement pertinent tools of operational excellence “Lean culture”
• Feed and support initiatives in Environment Health and Safety protecting life and well being
• Support change control preparation
• Initiate and finalize Deviations (Owner role/reviewer) and CAPA for hierarchy approval. When transversal (on top of the specific field) actions to close Deviations or CAPA are identified, the expert is able to evaluate impacts across MTC on top of its own responsibility field
  
  

The Candidate

• Engineer in Science (e.g.: in biology, pharmacy, clinical chemistry, bioengineering) or relevant experience in a similar position in the sector of Biotech/Pharma/Cell therapy.
• At least 5 year of experience in a similar role
• Experience in GMP environment and Aseptic production is a plus
• Fluency in French good reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
• Computer skills: Microsoft office, use of Data Base systems
• Technical oriented
• Quality minded, rigorous, customer oriented and continuous improvement driven
• Demonstrated cross functional team spirit.
• Organization skills, multitasking, flexibility and autonomous, good communicator
