Function

We are currently looking for a UX Designer : a design thinker and doerwho creates relevant user experiences.

As user research and design are essential components in our projects, these are your core skills. You are an analytical and innovative designer, strong in grasping user needs. You place ‘problems’ in a larger context, transforming insights and ideas into interaction concepts. You test early prototypes and mockups iteratively with users to make our products even better. After ourUX and UI concept definition, you safeguard the experience with the development team.

You will be part of our global team of UX designers, acting in the front end of the design process for all UX related developments across Barco.

Key Responsibilities
  • You understand product specifications and user psychology;
  • You come up with innovative approaches to solve user needs;
  • You conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback;
  • You create attractive designs, communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers;
  • You work with developers to implement designs;
  • You keep informed of competitor products and industry trends.

Your profile
  • You have experience in UX and UI design within a technological context;
  • You have a good knowledge of user centric design, systemic design, user research, user flows, wireframes, usability and design thinking;
  • You have graphical skills or a creative feeling;
  • You communicate and conduct presentations fluently in English;
  • You have knowledge on the appropriate UX tools, XD, Adobe Suite, Figma, ….
