We are currently searching for a Network Architecture Specialist to join one of our clients in either Brussels or Luxembourg.

Context / Introduction

The team where the consultant will work is in charge of designing the client’s infrastructures in the IT network field. We lead projects related to Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Remote Access Services and Video solutions.

All teams work together since most of the projects are related to several technological areas, so a good capacity for teamwork and communication is desired

The solutions designed must provide a secure connectivity service for our 15.000 users distributed in more than 20 buildings in three main sites (Luxembourg, Brussels and Strasbourg), working onsite or teleworking.

We design the architecture, finding the correct state-of-the-art solution

technological watch (performing market analysis)
technical evaluations of new solutions (performing vendor selections)
PoC and Pilots before the final deployment
We carry out Engineering activities

performance and capacity analysis
integration of new solutions in our infrastructures
security requirements (authentication, encryption, segmentation, Dmzs, filtering, etc.) are also part of deployed solutions
We document properly our solutions (HLD, LLD, migrations Plans, etc.)
We provide knowledge transfer and Level 3 support to Operational teams in those issues related to our designs
We can also provide consultancy, engineering and support to the various services as technical experts

Nature of Tasks

Technical domains: Data Networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi,...)

Cloud connectivity
Cloud Providers technologies in general (currently focused in AWS & Azure)
IP and MPLS protocols and technologies associated
Cisco Routing and switching (Hardware and software solutions)
Cisco & Aruba WiFi solutions for large enterprises (5.000 Access Points)
Network traffic segregation (VLAN, VRF, MPLS, trunking, ...)
Network redundancy and high availability protocols and architectures
Network application Load Balancing solutions
Network management and Performance monitoring systems

Requirements

University degree in 4 years and minimum 4 years of professional experience in the field
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience with Nexus
Minimum 2-3 years with cloud providers (Azure or AWS)
Previous relevant experience in the design of data centre and MPLS protocols
CCIE (ideally, but not mandatory, Ccip, CCNP certifications
For operational reasons, a good knowledge of French or English is needed.
