We are looking for a Junior IT Officer to join our IT Team in a leading advocate organisation where you can make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of wind energy. You will be responsible for the internal user support, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment, maintenance of user accounts and IT onboarding to newcomers.

You will report to the Head of IT.

Main duties and responsibilities

Hardware configuration and maintenance (PC, mobile phones, tablets)

Creation and maintenance of user accounts

IT support (1st line)

Assistance to the IT Team in IT projects

Administrative assistance to the IT Team (creating/updating IT documentation, ordering small equipment, updating IT inventories, creating purchase orders, etc.)

Mindset and skills qualifications

Pro-active, energetic, innovative, self-starter

Team player, constructive mindset

Well-organised, able to multitask and stress resistant

Able to work independently in a structured and transparent manner

Displaying ownership of and a high sense of responsibility regarding the projects assigned

Client-oriented (internal users) with a positive attitude and good communication

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent job experience)

Circa 2 years of previous professional experience

IT skills

Experience in configuration and maintenance of IT equipment (Windows, iOS)

Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment

Familiarity with SharePoint

Familiarity with scripting, PowerShell and other administrator tools

Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Familiarity with Teamviewer or other remote support tools

Languages

Very good level of English (written and spoken)

French or Dutch is a plus (in communication with Belgian suppliers)
