Tasks and responsibilities
For a large bank we are looking for KYC Analysts with a legal or criminological background. A combination of these two is of course also possible.
To mitigate compliance risks, it is essential that financial institutions know their "customers." The Know Your Client (KYC) principle reduces the risk that a financial institution is linked as a third party to money laundering and terrorism financing. The risks of private and business relations are assessed via a KYC analysis.
You will mainly be engaged in conducting basic and follow-up surveys of wealthy individuals, SMEs and large corporate clients.
What do we expect from you?
- A university degree (Bachelor or Master), preferably in law, business economics, political science or criminology;
- A first experience as a KYC Analyst
- Communicative skills, both orally and in writing English and Dutch;
- Demonstrable analytical and investigative skills;
- Careful and accurate working method;
- Driven mentality and the capacity to prioritize;
- Full discussion partner for internal and external stakeholders.
