For our client in Brussels, we are looking for a Lead Structural Engineer. Our client is a key player in Energy transition and they have foreseen to extend its offshore high voltage grid.

Mission

As a Lead Structural you will:
  • Manage the structural steel and layouting aspects of the substations
  • Act as the contact person for the EPC Contractor
  • Oversee detailed engineering of offshore substations
  • Ensure corrosion protection and maintainability of the substations
  • Implement quality control, including third-party approval
  • Coordinate with other disciplines within the team, including utilities, HV equipment, civil works, and other packages
  • Manage the transportation and installation (T&I) process

Profile

  • You have a Masters in Civil engineer (preferably structural)
  • You have minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in the offshore sector is a plus
  • Experience with structural engineering of offshore platforms is highly desirable
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch, French is a plus
  • You are willing to travel (Short business trips to contractors)
