Description:

  • Configure and integrate Rapid7 with existing systems and data sources.
  • Perform testing and validation.
  • Identify and prioritize data sources for onboarding into Rapid7.
  • Onboarding assets/ cloud account / web apps into into Rapid7 modules (InsightVm, InsightAppSec, InsightCloudSec).
  • Perform routine administration tasks such as user management, system monitoring, ad-hoc scanning asset management, report management.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with vendors for support and issue resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Rapid7 configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans in the event of any security breaches.


Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT Security, In a cyber security analyst role with the usage of security tools and other techniques to seek out vulnerabilities and improve the security posture.
  • A good knowledge of threat and vulnerability management approaches, techniques with generally used tools.
  • Lead the deployment and management of Rapid7 solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain Rapid7 implementation, ensuring comprehensive security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
  • Implementation knowledge on Rapid7 InsightAppSec, InsightVM, InsightCloudSec module.
  • Hands on knowledge on Schedule scan, Report configuration, Scanner deployment for Rapid7.
  • Knowledge on API and Hands on knowledge on Asset group, tag, site creation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to align Rapid7 solutions with business objectives.
  • Experience in working with a variety of stakeholders and managing supplier relationships.


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of integration with other security tools and platforms for seamless information sharing and incident response.
  • Knowledge on different integration (i.e. Cisco Kenna, Splunk, SIEM etc.) with Rapid7 tool.
  • Fundamentals of Cisco Kenna, asset management, Risk Meter creation.
  • Knowledge on latest security and technology developments.
