  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics (warehouse and transport)
  • Demonstrated capabilities in continuous improvement
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Certification in continuous improvement, for example six sigma


Consulting mission until minimum the end of December 2021 with possibility of extension

Our client is a global vaccine research, development and production company, that employs over 11,200 people worldwide, of which 7,500 in its three Belgian sites: Rixensart, Wavre and Gembloux.


Purpose of the mission:


Our client has initiated a tender to benefit from the best solution to support their distribution and warehousing activities in Belgium. The tender is managed by a program team and has 3 main business units: distribution vaccines, distribution pharma and centre warehouse.

The program has 2 phases

Phase 1 - Tender: now till dec 2021

Phase 2 - Implementation: 2022+

You will join the program team and work very closely with program team and central warehouse. There is an opportunity for contract extension during implementation phases.

Primary tasks and responsibilites:


Tender execution

  • Coordinate and follow-up very closely all activities requiring PWI contribution
  • Collect data, conduct analysis, review tender material and draft recommendations,... for PWI
  • Support program in any specific PWI activities and if required, in more transversal topic

Acceleration opportunities


  • Lead the delivery of the acceleration opportunity under leadership of PWI, meaning the closure of the hall -25°C. The leadership will required capacity to create the plan but also to ensure all activities are taken by employee / operators to close the hall

Support central warehouse


  • Support central warehouse management team in daily activities to enable their contribution to the program. Activities will be of different nature: problem solving, small improvement projects, specific analysis,...

Expectations is - 50% time on tender / acceleration and 50% on support
