The Logistics Coordinator is the effective ‘Chief Customer Officer’ for the supply site. The jobholder coordinates the site Logistics Scheduling roles (Raws, Packs, Factory, Outbound) to ensure the factory delivers to the customer; ensuring CSL through short-term scheduling of the factory, ensuring Raws & Packs are delivered to the site and planning the Outbound operation of the factory. The jobholder is the key connection with the other Food sites to drive the execution of continuous improvement projects and backing up holidays for the site Factory & Outbound Scheduler.


What are we looking for?
1. Education & Professional Qualification

  • University degree, preferably in logistics
  • >3 year in logistics
  • Could be from similar industry, distributors, or retail

2. Knowledge/Experience

  • Experience or affinity with systems used in Production Environment (ERP, MRP, etc. e.g SAP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
  • Relevant experience in logistics or operations
  • Strong analytical skills, structured and accurate ways of working
  • Leading (project) teams experience ideal but not compulsory
  • Strong in building collaborative relationships and influencing without authority


What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Functionally leads local Logistics team – engagement, development, performance, and recruitment
  • Coaches the Daily and Weekly FLMOS meetings driving continuous improvement mindset
  • Represent Factory Logistics in Daily Plant Review
  • Manages relationship between Site and Commercial and Market stakeholders on operational issues
  • Co-pilots with SLC’s on other Food Sites and Global Supply Chain team to execute European-wide improvement initiatives
  • Ensures execution of the Logistics Roadmap for the site to deliver improvements across responsible metrics.
  • Maintain connection and thorough understanding of factory operations
  • Responsible to ensure cover for the Factory Scheduler
