Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

You will be responsible for the organization of air emissions measurements in our ceramic plants across Europe, using both external as internal accredited measurement teams.
You will also be responsible for the generation of accurate emission reports and technical comments, for internal and external use.
You’ll lead and manage the internal emission measurement team.
You’ll be in charge for maintaining and improving the accreditation according to EN-ISO17025 for the internal emission measurement team.
As an internal expert, you’ll provide technical consulting and support on emission reduction technology for all ceramic plants across Europe.
You are passionate about your work and you’ll follow-up on new technologies and initiate R&D initiatives related to emission reduction technology, reagents and carbon capture.
You’ll be working from our office in Belgium but you are willing to travel internationally up to 20% of the time (mainly France, Germany and the Netherlands, occasionally other European countries).
You report to the Head of Technology.

Profiel kandidaat

You have a Master/PhD in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics (or equivalent through experience).
You have a good technical knowledge and experience with emissions-related technology. Knowledge and/or experience with measurement equipment is considered to be an asset.
Knowledge of environmental legislation is considered to be an asset .
Colleagues see you as an effective communicator with a great analytical mindset.
You have good language skills (English is an absolute must, French and German are an asset).
