Volvo Financial Services is looking for a Managing Director Belgium & Luxemburg

Responsibilities:

The Managing Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the markets Belgium & Luxemburg ( BeLux ) including the development, management and achievement of the market business plans.
This includes driving the achievement of operational, commercial and profitability targets, delivering excellent customer and dealer satisfaction, driving our transformation agenda, while working with a high performing and highly engaged team.

It also includes supporting the Volvo Group brands marketing strategy and managing the strategic integration and alignment between Volvo Financial Services (VFS) and the respective Volvo Group Brands like Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Bus and Volvo Construction Equipment.

The Managing Director will also represent the company with business partners and authorities.
The position reports to the Senior Vice President, VFS Region Europe North & Central and it is located in Brussels.

We’re Looking for the Following Experience:
  • Relevant degree in Business, Finance or Marketing; MBA desirable
  • 10-15 year’s progressive management experience and executive guidance of a financial services company of comparable size and complexity to VFS
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing a comprehensive team of employees
  • 3-5 year’s full profit and loss responsibility for a finance company or division
  • Expertise in capital equipment, preferably in the heavy truck, construction equipment, and bus industry, with proven experience in financing through dealer networks
  • Direct management of at least three of the following four areas: credit, marketing, sales, operations, accounting/finance

  • Strong business and financial acumen, results-orientated, building the foundations for long term business success and proven record in achieving business results
  • Ability to understand, assess and manage credit, financial, and business risks
  • Strong commercial drive to capture market opportunities and support Volvo Group brand sales
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact and influence at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Experienced in creating a high performance team and culture across businesses and functions
