ABOUT THE ROLE : MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS EXPERT IN THE MICE SECTOR

  • Very good knowledge of Brussels and the Brussels event scene
  • Independant role (freelancer)
  • Fluently in English and Dutch/French (min. 2 languages; English is key)
  • Out of the box thinker, commercial & friendly attitude, being flexible & reachable
  • Work-from-home position
  • Activities in collaboration with & supervised by the Association Manager (also freelancer)
  • Start: December 1 2021

DESCRIPTION

  • Define and manage the marketing communication strategy
  • Advisory/consultative role for marketing and communication actions
  • Define annually the range of activities to market BSV
  • Define KPIs, monitor results, prepare reporting, adjust actions when needed
  • Manage the digital communication (News/blog, Newsletters)
  • Community management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Produce the content strategy (content plan) and the contents (editorial role)
  • Manage the visual assets
  • Broaden target audience & database management

BRUSSELS SPECIAL VENUES is a unique nonprofit association, representing almost 40 special event venues in the Brussels Capital Region. This year we celebrate our 15 years of existence.

We offer a website www.venues.be, showing all our members, and a venue finder. But we are more than just a portal site. We offer our members the opportunity to gather event requests through different ways.

We are a preferred strategic partner of Visit Brussels and Visit Flanders and are member of the Event Confederation.
