BRAND DESCRIPTION

Lauded for his vibrant, artisanal knitwear, Antwerp designer Christian Wijnants creates contemporary, feminine silhouettes with a strong focus on knitwear and prints. The designer started his endeavors in fashion in 1996 as a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Art. There he developed a fascination for innovative knitted fabrics and elegant, easy to wear designs. After a successful stint at Dries Van Noten, he launched his own eponymous label in 2003. The collections were picked up by department stores and boutiques throughout the world.

Christian Wijnants won the International Woolmark Prize in 2013, opened a flagship store in Antwerp in 2015 and a second store in Berlin in 2022. The team is currently looking for a Communication & Digital Experience Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Communication and Digital Experience manager, one of your main responsibilities will be to grasp the essence of the brand and new collections, developing a strategy to bring this brand story online, to retailers, and end consumers through events, multiple social and digital platforms. You will be responsible for promoting follower engagement and curating creative on-brand content.

Working closely with our digital partners you will research, design and implement continuous improvements to the customer experience. You will be closely working with the Sales Manager and the Design Team to ensure our brand story is consistently and effectively communicated across all channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Communicating Christian’s vision to our audience

· Community management, social media, newsletters, web-shop and third-party platforms

· Implement marketing strategies based on commercial targets form concept to execution

· Manage marketing budget and efficient return on investment

· Research and analyze based on internal data and specific research

· Mapping all the relevant digital and offline touchpoints (existing and new), investigating their potential and describing the ideal customer experience.

· Report efficiently on campaign performance and website traffic

· Set up of visual tools both for press and sales (product launches)

· Coordinate and manage photoshoots, including campaigns and e-commerce productions

· Plan and coordinate events such as fashion shows, web events and retail marketing activations.

· Liaison with external press offices

· E-merchandising

· Represent the brand as a spokesperson and actively build a network in Belgium, the Netherlands, and all countries with wholesale partners

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Minimum 3 years of experience in online marketing ideally within luxury fashion or lifestyle sector. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business management.

- Manage and develop social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) while implementing strategy and build on brand presence and engagement.

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English and Dutch.

-High proficiency in Adobe Suite (notably Photoshop), Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Klaviyo. You also have solid experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SEO, AdWords, Facebook Ads, and CRO, and know how to leverage data to optimize performance.

- Experience with AI tools to enhance creative content, campaign optimizations, and digital marketing strategies is a strong plus.

- Passionate about the fashion industry and eager to present our brand in a meaningful and impactful way.

-A creative mindset and a strong sense of initiative. Confident in creating compelling, on-brand content, you combine storytelling skills with the ability to work in a hands-on, operational environment.

- Driver’s license (B) is a plus.
