The Marketing Communications Manager supports Marketing Directors and the SVP of Marketing & Communications (Americas) in the design, development, implementation and measurement of communications initiatives targeted toward our diverse employee audience. All programs and communications will align to and support the achievement of key strategic objectives The Senior Specialist will also work closely with Executive Management on corporate communication programs. Responsibilities include development and dissemination of executive, employee communications, along with execution of communications-related initiatives to include: strategic and business plan objectives and performance updates, brand awareness campaigns, case study development, video development, corporate event support and special communications projects.Working at NTT
Responsibilities include (a) researching communications trends and implementing new/improved approaches to reach target audiences ; (b) development of marketing plan and associated budget required to support assigned communications efforts; (c) planning and execution of key communications initiatives; (d) utilization of enterprise reporting tools to manage investments against standard marketing plan metrics, including email opens, click-through, site visits, event attendance, “likes”, “followers”, engagement and amplification; (e) development of ad-hoc analysis and reports based on the needs of the marketing team and Americas leadership; (f) development of recommendations to marketing management based on this analysis, as a key input into ongoing plans and tactics; and provide other operational support as necessary. The Communications Manager is also expected to manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of communications-related initiatives and Integrated Communications Plans (ICPs).
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan, research and execute communications programs for internal audiences
- Execute internal Integrated Communications Plans (ICPs), orchestrating assigned tactics to ensure right message at the right time for the established internal target audience. Track and report post-campaign results
- Manage the communication plans of corporate events, ensuring there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event plan to increase engagement and response rates. Track and report post-event results
- Management of assigned work streams in support of corporate events (Annual Conference and other corporate events)
- Liaise with internal staff to understand needs and provide clear communications related to assigned staff
- Work with Shared Services teams to develop communications plans and execute ongoing communications within employee base
- Create and deliver emails, direct mail, newsletters, and other publications, identifying the right vehicle for each communication to ensure greatest exposure and engagement
- Manage external vendors to ensure they meet our performance requirements and deliver results in support of communications-related initiatives (vendors may include, Social Media Agencies, Online Marketing Agencies, Events Managers)
- Ownership and management of budget related to assigned programs/initiatives
- Write, edit, proofread, and revise communications
- Create and deliver communications content, which may include presentations, internal announcements, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, case studies, white papers and/or speaking proposals
- Support and assist with the development of marketing programs and initiatives to amplify the brand internally
- Collaborate with leaders from across the business (Group and Region) to gather input and effectively communicate all relevant messages to internal/external audience
What will make you a good fit for the role?
Education/Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or related field required. MBA degree is a plus.
Work Experience Required
- 5+ years of relevant and progressive written and oral communication experience is preferred.
- 5+ years designing collateral, content and presentations using utilities such as HTML, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
- Prior experience with email platform and/or marketing automation software (ex: Salesforce.com/Marketo/Eloqua/Exact Target)
- Prior experience integrating social marketing/social selling into communications campaigns
- Experience with B2B and work experience in the IT environment
