At Umamido (meaning “The Way of the Savoury”) it is all about getting the most delicious

flavors out of simple ingredients. We are crafting and serving honest ramen. It’s honest

because we are passionate about our ingredients and flavors, about our customers… and

we’re sure as hell passionate about ramen. We are only using ingredients of the best quality

– mostly homemade and if not, sourced from the best suppliers (locally and

globally). Our honest ramens are a love letter to Japan, and to our customers.

So, who are we? We are food lovers driven to share our passion for Japan, its culture

and its food. We are determined to nourish our customers with flavorsome and rich dishes

and with genuine kindness and attention (our famous omotenashi spirit ).

What are your Duties?

Being able to work on:

• Assist with daily

• Design and present new

• consumer opinions and marketing strategies and proposing adjustments to

current strategies accordingly

• all social media platforms for current news, trends, ideas, and content feedback,

adjusting outreach tactics as needed

• Help create and manage social media content and other communication

• Host and prepare for marketing

• The experience will never be boring, restaurant life moves fast and in unpredictable ways,

there will always be something fun to develop and work on.

What we expect from you?

• Completing or have completed a degree in a related field such as business, marketing, public

relations or journalism

• Experience with working with Creative Cloud ( Adobe photoshop, Indesign, Premier pro etc),

other

• Sound knowledge of MS Office and design software (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

• Familiarity with a content management system (e.g., Later)

• A passion for learning new things

• Experience in marketing, social media or community management or content creation or

photography is a plus but not mandatory

• Some familiarity with marketing software and tools (e.g., Google AdWords, Analytics, CRM

tools)

• Strong verbal as well as written communication skills

• Good time-management and organizational skills

• An analytical creative mindset ready to hop on any idea combined with a problem-solving

attitude

• Flexible availability, this won’t be a regular 9/5
