Marketing Specialist Products

The marketing specialist for products is primarily responsible for supporting TMHE’s product management & MSCO marketing departments.

You will be responsible for supporting and driving the product offer:

• Transform ideas and concepts into strategic and effective marketing plans
• Take ownership for the promotion of products throughout their life cycle
• Generate fresh content to support visibility and awareness of our offer
• Promote Toyota products with a consistent feel and tone in line with our style guidelines
• Utilise and experiment with new approaches to meet varied customer demands
• Work closely with colleagues in product management to understand product features and to turn them into benefits that are relevant for our customers
• Develop industry or product focused case studies and blogs
• Work with the marketing team to create product press release components, position statements, newsletters, press articles and other product related material
• Structured approach to all assigned projects, with diligence and attention to detail at all times
• Support new product launches and planning with the project owner
• Be structured, diligent and apply a PDCA mentality for continuous improvement of projects
• Creative and consistent approach to identify what differentiates Toyota’s products and to communicate it effectively
• Supporting products throughout their life cycles, from launch until phase out, including promotions, advertising, and content
• Be aware of and occasionally investigate competitor activities and trends in the industry
• Responsibility for managing own budget for projects through effective use of internal resource and external suppliers.
• Development of Toyota’s digital tools using new and innovative technologies, fitting our brand guidelines
• Promotion and implementation of digital tools, updating with latest product information and promoting the tools internally and externally

Campaigns & Promotions

• Responsibility to support the leader with the creation of motivational and inspiring sales campaigns and promotions
• Development of materials and content to support successful campaigns that have real impact on the performance of organisation
• Develop KPI’s and PDCA routines to monitor and maintain campaign performance

Support of the wider European Marketing team

• As part of the marketing team directly support each member in reciprocal manner, to further develop an atmosphere of respect in a motivational and creative environment
• Apply knowledge and skills to help other members of the marketing team deliver quality results and material that will engage our customers and support our goals
• Take ownership of tasks and use initiative to develop ideas, including administrative routines that support the European Marketing team

• Revise, edit, and proof read content as needed
• Work within tight deadlines, flexible to the demands of European Marketing projects
• Research the technical properties of products
• Determine what makes products appealing to our consumers
• Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns when required
• Ensure campaign stays within budget
• Create and present storyboards of ideas
• Oversee campaigns and promotions from production to completion
• Always think customer demands and engagement

Your profile

• Fluent English language speaker and writer
• University degree or equivalent experience in the profession / industry
• Creativity and fresh approach that encourages consumption by our customers
• An interest in new technologies, such as AR/MR/VR and 3D imagery
• Ability to demonstrate excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work in a highly structured manner
• Ability to develop relationships with suppliers and manage expenditure to maximise ROI
• Able to produce work quickly under pressure and to a consistently high standard
• Able to work both within a team and under own initiative
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages

You will be based in the TMHE Marketing & Sales office in Willebroek, Belgium – where you have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with many other departments such as Digital Business, Product Management, Project Management, Rental & Used, Service, European Key Account Organisation, HR, Sales, and many others.
