About the Opportunity
Join Sanofi Belgium CHC – Consumer Healthcare – as National Account Manager. In this role you will own the development of the Key Account Channel, from strategy to execution of all aspects of the channel: people, commercial policy, trends, future evolutions and overall return.
Key Account Channel Landscape: wholesaler, Key Account Customers (pharmacy & retail), Pharmacy groups and pure ecommerce players.

In this role you will…
- Responsible for the achievement of agreed annual financial budgets by key account/brand (net sales / customer profitability) and all other customer related sales KPI’s
- Deliver the channel & customer 3-year outlook strategy
- Analyze market developments and formulate appropriate proposals to develop growth opportunities, including customer specific activities where appropriate. Assess market activity/trends at point of purchase in order to identify new strategic opportunities
- Strengthen further the development of the ecommerce channel (strategy and execution)
- Develop category management projects for the in-store execution of our brands ensuring excellence in 3D (display, distribution and detailing)
- Plan promotion and recommendation activity, together with account investment levels, aligned to Trade and Shopper marketing strategy for brands
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual achievement of strategic objectives: sales volumes & net sales values, market share evolution in terms of value and volume, profitability, customer Service requirements and instore excellence KPI’s: distribution, shelving, stock, display
- Input in S&O process (accurate and timely forecasts to the Supply Chain department)
- Utilize required retail selling skills in customer communication (including presentation, negotiation and objection handling skills benchmarked against FMCG standards)
- Manage 1 KAM and work in close collaboration with the marketing and sales teams. Enhance professional expertise and competency of KA Team and facilitate cross-category fertilization of resources
About you
Qualifications/ Education & work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or relevant experience in a similar role
- 5+ years of experience in OTC/FMCG
- Proficient in key areas of account management, including sales budgeting, forecasting and effective business planning
- Extensive knowledge of business and trade marketing principles
- High level of FMCG negotiation and customer relationship development, as well as effective team building skills
- Analytical, negotiation, agility, leadership, project management and networking skills
- Oral and written fluency in Dutch, French and English
