About Our Client
Active in different industrial activities, the group is divided by Business Units while having, within the Brussels HQ, a global view and global responsibilities over the whole business.
The role of Junior Consolidation Manager is based in the HQ with the overview of the whole business.
Job Description
As Junior Consolidation Manager, you directly report to the Finance Director and work in a team of 2. The consolidation team is stable and has great evolution perspective.
Therefore, keep in mind that the function is open to evolution and growth.
Perform monthly / quarterly / yearly consolidation- Analyze & improve the consolidation as well as the IFRS accounting processes
- Support the management on the group’s performance with the realization of accurate financial reports
- Prepare annual financial reports as well as external financial documentation
- Maintain the group’s accounting principles accurate and identify improvement points
- Be the internal point of contact for other financial partners
- Management of ad hoc projects
The Successful Applicant
As the function will be central and will also show great perspectives, the profile will have to show a certain set of hard and soft skills:
- Master’s degree in Finance / Business Management / Economics - Or equivalent
- At least 2 or 3 years of financial experience (audit is a plus - consolidation experience is a real added value)
- IFRS knowledge / experience is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English, good French command (written and spoken)
- Proactive and Outgoing: being able to go out of your comfort zone, to take initiative
- Positive and result oriented
