We are currentlylooking for an“Operational Quality Manager”(OQM) - Mechelen

Job Description

Your challenge:

The Operational Quality Management team, which is part of the SGS Quality Assurance department, manages the quality system within the operational functional areas, and guides and supports the functional areas with regards to different aspects of quality. In addition, the OQM team manages internal projects, encourages and facilitates internal and cross-functional discussions and efficiency exercises with the aim to increase consistency in the way of working throughout the organization.

As an OQM your main responsibility is to guide operational teams through the requirements of the quality management system.

This Implies That You
  • develop and maintain quality and personnel documents
  • propose changes to quality documents on an ongoing basis in order to improve the quality system
  • initiate process improvements / efficiencies were needed
  • monitor quality by following up on timely training of new or revised quality documents
  • guide the teams through the CAPA process by assisting in risk assessment of deviations, Root Cause Analyses and formulation of CAPA Plans
  • assist the teams in performing their daily work in a consistent and efficient way
  • participate in / facilitate cross-functional discussions and working groups related to any aspect of quality, to create or optimize cross-functional procedures, or to look for efficiencies in processes and collaboration
Qualifications
  • University degree, PhD in Science or relevant experience (at least 3 years) within Clinical Research, preferably within Data Management
  • Fluently writing and speaking English
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in writing
  • Assertive and motivated
  • Open for discussion and constructive attitude
  • Strive for quality and eye for detail
  • Stress resistant and flexible
  • Good knowledge of good documentation practices and experience with eTMF / filing in general are an asset
