BeCentral is looking for an Operations Ninja in Brussels

BeCentral is the digital campus located in Brussels Central Station. Co-founded and backed by more than 60 entrepreneurs, BeCentral is a place to learn technologies, grow a startup and impact society. In our 8000-sqm campus, we host ~70 resident initiatives (digital schools, start-ups and NGO’s). Our mission is to empower people, of all ages, genders and backgrounds, to be actors of the digital revolution.

Your mission

As an Operations Ninja you will be in charge of:

Supporting the Campus Operation team

  • Managing the meeting rooms bookings from A to Z
  • Verifying the physical state of meeting rooms
  • Support in answering residents needs
  • Managing office supplies and respond to team’s requests
  • Support in managing Campus supplies and logistics
  • Support in organizing team events and birthdays
  • Support with onboarding and offboarding individuals and organizations

Supporting residents and internal events

  • Be the go-to person for residents in the organization of their events (including technical supportfor sound, beamers, cables)
  • Managing consumable material and create an in-house event store
  • Supervising the logistics of community events

Your profile

  • Kick-ass and hands-on attitude
  • Strong soft skills in-person
  • Smiling, cheerful and positive person
  • Being organized and solution-oriented are a must
  • Entrepreneurial & versatile mindset
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is mandatory. French, Dutch and other languages are a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in team, with partners and autonomously
  • Solid understanding and interest in digital learning & entrepreneurship
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus (horeca, event sector...)
